He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Buddie Adkins and Ruth Cornelius Saunders Adkins; and his brother Dabner Burton Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Leigh Blanks Adkins; and his children, Karen R. Linn (Scott) of Melbourne, FL, Melanie Martin of Lavonia, GA, Calvin Todd Adkins of Lynchburg and Timothy Lee Adkins (Deborah) of Lynchburg. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
