Though Carole may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carole touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Varner Henderson and Clayton McRae Henderson. She is survived by: her husband David; her son David Clayton of South Boston, VA; her grandchildren, Miles Bowen and Sydney Bowen of Lynchburg; and her siblings-in-law, Susan Bowen Sineath (Chuck) of Boca Grande, FL, William Bowen (Kitty) of Goode and Paul Bowen (Nobuko) of Okinawa.
