She was predeceased by: her father Samuel Gray, Sr.; her grandparents, Oscar and Beatrice Vest; her stepmother Christine Gray; her husband Walter Massie Turner, Sr.; and her brothers, Billy Gray and Charles Haliburton.
She is survived by: her children, Walter Massie Turner, Jr. of Forest, Ford Lee Vest, Oscar David Turner (Debra), Thomas Turner and Barbara T. Horsley (Darnell) of Madison Heights, Virginia.; her siblings, Samuel Gray, Jr. of Faber, Virginia, James Gray (Roberta) of Faber, Virginia, John Gray (Diane) of Faber, Virginia, Paulette Lewis of Charlottesville and Ellen Stewart (Danny) of Faber; and her sister-in-law Mazzie Jackson. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives.
