Christine leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Christine’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Christine will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Mitchell Goodman and Rosa Phelps Goodman; and her husband Timothy Clark Carter. She is survived by: her daughter Dana Lewis (J. C.); her granddaughter Shana Lynette Lewis; her great grandchild Rayna James Bohon; her siblings, Barbara Lloyd (Tommy), Janet Lloyd and Jake Goodman; and her pets, Bonnie and Buffy.
A committal service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fort Hill Memorial Park (5196 Fort Ave, Lynchburg, VA 24502).
