With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Claude Winston Scott Jr. of Lynchburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Claude may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Claude touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude W. Scott Sr. and Evelyn Yeatts Scott. He is survived by: his wife Anita Scott; his children, Jeremy, Joel Scott (Ragan) and Sarah Culverhouse (Rhett); and his brother Gregory Scott (Tonya). He is also survived by six grandchildren.
