He is survived by : his children, Malik Shabazz (CJ), Curtchelle Delaney of Lynchburg, VA, Jamie Bradshaw of Dover, DE, Curtrice Bradshaw (Connie Morrow) of Long Island, NY and James Smith (Jim) of Lynchburg, VA.; his grandchildren, Jessica, DeAshleigh, Imani, Amir, Mehki, Isaiah, Johanna, Jaila and Jioni; and his great grandchildren, Victor Jr., Karma and Honey.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home (220 Breezewood Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
