He is survived by: his sons, C. W. "Rocky" McCormick, Jr. (Rebecca) of Appomattox and Gregory L. McCormick (Jennifer) of Lynchburg; his grandchildren, Pat Charlie Dehart (Lisa Bower), Samantha Hudson (Brian), Jesse Otey (Seth), Erin Walker (Chris), Allison Burnette of Lynchburg, Jacob McCormick (Jessica), Curtis Cole McCormick and Evelyn McCormick; and his son-in-law Randy Dehart. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
