He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Delaney and Catherine Delaney (Shea); and his siblings, Patricia Murphy, Ann Howard, Sheila Flynn, Beth Delaney and John Delaney.
He is survived by: his son Kevin Delaney of Tigard; his wife Peggie Capasso (Capasso); his child Lauren Traphagen (Aaron) of Lynchburg, VA.; his grandchildren, Calista and Olivia Traphagen of Lynchburg; and his siblings, Cathy LeBrun (Tom) of Westwood, Jeremiah Delaney, Paul, Debbie Capasso of Norwood, MA, Annette and Charlie Diauto of Maryville, TN.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home (48 Common St, Walpole, MA 02081). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
