We announce the death of Daniel Holt Dickerson of Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on July 10, 2026, at the age of 83. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hutson Daniel Dickerson and Blanche Holmes Holt Dickerson; his children, Susan Dickerson Coalson (Keith Rudd Coalson), Angela Dickerson Drinkard and Finnie Rae Dickerson; his granddaughters, Kesler Dallas Coalson (Stephen Jordan) and McKenna Holt Coalson Finchum (Timothy Finchum); and his friend Bill Miller.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Beulah Baptist Church or Calvary Baptist Church.
