He was predeceased by: his father Steve Lawrence Costa. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Martin Costa; his mother Sandra Bumpus Costa; his children, Michael Allen Costa (Kenzie) of Issaquah, WA and Lyndsey Costa Van Haren (Andrew) of Forest, VA; his grandchild Reece Elliot Van Haren; his brother Don Costa (Delores) of Land; his sibling's children, Caitlin Katz and Austin Costa (Savannah Rose Costa); his great-nephews, Cade Katz and Charles Costa; his great-niece Claire Katz; and his pets, Cooper and Bella.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 439 Timberlake Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
The family would like to request that any memorial contributions be made in Darrell's memory to the Pearson Cancer Center or to a charity of your choice.
