He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel David and Grace Viola Garland Espenscheid; and his sons, Brian David Espenscheid and Jonathan Mark Espenscheid. He is survived by: his wife Alice Naramore Espenscheid; his children, Daniel Espenscheid (Deborah), Laura Espenscheid Rose (Tom), Stephen Espenscheid (Sarah) and Sherry Espenscheid Scott; and his brother Lyle Espenscheid (Judy). He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and his 28 great-grandchildren.
