She was predeceased by: her mother Jacquelyn "Jackie" Phillips Eckstein; and her nephew DJ Eckstein. She is survived by: her daughter Nicole Hughes (Thomas); her father Clinton Eckstein; and her brothers, Clint Eckstein, Daryl Eckstein (Diane) and Bryan Eckstein (Theresa). She is also survived by four nephews and two nieces.
