With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Brown MacIntyre of Lynchburg, Virginia, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 24, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John Leslie MacIntyre; her parents, Irvin Walter Brown and Margaret Bartholmew Brown; and her son Richard Leslie MacIntyre. She is survived by: her daughter Peggy MacIntyre of Lynchburg; her grandchildren, Tony Day (Cheryl) and Rebecca Swint; and her great grandchild Alexander Day.
