Doris McKenna Dunn Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris McKenna Dunn of Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on July 24, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Mckenna and Lena C. McKenna; her husband Carlton R. Dunn; and her siblings, Virginia Hubbard, Chris McKenna and Phillip McKenna.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Taylor (Jay), Audrey D. Smith (Jerry), Michael A. Dunn (Nancy) and William "Billy" H. Dunn (Donna); her grandchildren, Kari Hogan, Melissa Young (Matthew), Sean Dunn, James Johnson (Kristin), Jason Johnson and Coty Johnson (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Jayden Hogan, Brycen Hogan, Callie Cofflin, Bentley Johnson, Ryland Johnson and Mavrie Johnson; and her niece Deborah Cox.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whitten Timberlake Chapel (7404 Timberlake Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
