We are sad to announce that, on November 9, 2022, at the age of 96, Elizabeth Alford of Lynchburg, Virginia, born in Gretna, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lester H. Alford; her parents, Carrie Hodges and Conard Mattox, Sr. (Blount); and her siblings, Robert Edward Mattox, Conard Blount Mattox Jr. and Jacqueline Mattox Metcalf.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Kent (Jane M. Alford) and Edward Neal (Gail Alford). She is also survived by three sons, wives, and ten grandchildren.
