She was predeceased by: her husband John "Dan" Daniel Smith; her parents, Wiley Franklin Ferguson and Nora Rice Ferguson; and her siblings, Edna F. Sherman, Louise F. Carr and Melvin O. Feguson.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Stephen Smith (Robert Michael Sims) of Stone Mountain, GA and Phillip Jason Smith (Marlene) of Marysville, WA; her grandchildren, Phillip Jason Smith, II (Serena) and Shannon Elizabeth Smith-Moore (Zeb); and her great grandchildren, Jasmine Rae Smith, Phillip Jason Smith III and Noella Elizabeth Smith.
