Ethel Donathan Harris Obituary

We bid farewell to Ethel Donathan Harris of Lynchburg, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 25, 2025 at the age of 84. Ethel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Donathan and Ida Hanks Donathan; her husband William Harris; her siblings, Grover Donathan, Irene Rape, Posey Donathan and Clifton Donathan; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Hale (Henry Grattan).

She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Harris of Lynchburg and Sonja Decker (Jason) of Evington; her sister-in-law Vicki Morgan of Elon, NC; and her friend Mae Glidewell of Mayodan, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
