He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Patricia Maddera of Forest; his grandchildren, Sara Johnson (Randy) of Vinton and Kyle Maddera (Debora) of Wilmington, NC; and his great grandchildren, Levi and Mia Johnson of Vinton.
