He was predeceased by: his parents, Fielden Levi Hale and Ruth Reedy Hale; his brother Carl Hale; and his brother-in-law Reginald Gray. He is survived by: his wife Lula Ann Crance Hale; his children, Gary "Tyke" Hale (Phyllis) and Joni Hale Pauley; his grandchildren, Stephanie Ward, Shannon Stratton (Christian) and Kelly Martell (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Chyna Ward, Liam Stratton, Jace Stratton and Owen Martell; his great great grandchild Harmoni Tanner; his sister Nancy Gray; and his sister-in-law Edna Hale. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Thomas Terrace Baptist Church.
