Garth E. Runion Obituary
In loving memory of Garth E. Runion of Lynchburg, Virginia, who departed this world on June 3, 2025 at the age of 84. Garth leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Garth may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Garth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Laura; his children, Amy Bruno (Mark), Mindy Peterson (Jeff), Garth Runion II (Kristen) and Amanda Yates (Brian); and his grandchildren, Brooke May (Peterson), Bethany Peterson, Jenna Bruno and Emma Runion.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Riverside Church (2450 Thomas Jefferson Rd, Forest, VA 24551).
