He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Dillard Sr. and Nancy Catherine Williams-Dillard; his siblings, Paul Dillard III and Joyce Brinetta Dillard; his great-nephew Assum Jefferson; his great-niece Tamiya Crews; and his cousins, Roselyn Williams and Patricia Williams.
He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Dillard, Renee Dillard and Dr. Jesse Smith (Nadine); his uncle Jerry Dillard; his aunts, Evelyn Smith and Sarah Dillard-Thornhill; his sister-in-law Judy Scott-Dillard; his caregiver Judy Scott-Dillard; and his cousin Dr. Laverne Tisdale. He is also survived by eight nieces and three nephews; a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home (220 Breezewood Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Rose Chapel Baptist Church (283 Colony Rd, Madison Heights, VA 24572).
