With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geraline Transou Robertson (Lynchburg, Virginia), who passed away on September 10, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Geraline departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Geraline may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Geraline leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joyce Gilmer Transou and Gertrude Hammock Transou; her brother C. Eugene Transou (June); and her grandson Christopher Martin. She is survived by: her husband William Alvin Robertson, Sr.; her children, Cynthia R. Martin (Richard) and William A. Robertson, Jr. (Wanda Gail); her grandson W. Bradly Robertson; and her brother Jack L. Transou (Gaynelle).
