She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Smith and Gladys Oglesby Smith; her siblings, Martin, John, Clarence, Fred, Rudolph, Franklin, Howard, Louise, Dorothy, Julia, Ophelia, Frances and Betty Jean; her husbands, Cleveland White, Sr. and Smith Fletcher, Sr.; and her grandson Jovan Boyd.
She is survived by: her children, Minister Howard White, Cleveland White, Jr. (Debbie Rice), Timothy White (Kimm) and Pamela Ramseur (Kevin); her sister-in-law Mildred Smith; her cousin Betty Mae Withers; and her grandchildren, Amy Langley (Bernard), Andre White, Natasha Dennison, Omar White (Natasha), Haji White, Mandia Younger, Khiry White, Krystal Ali (Samiyyah), Kourtney Ramseur, Kevin Ramseur II (Megan) and Taylor White. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church (800 Cabell St, Lynchburg, VA 24504).
