He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Brooks Ford; and his parents, Henry B. Ford and Nellie Vaughan Ford. He is survived by: his sons, Bruce E. Ford (Eugenia) and Kent Ford (Frances); his grandchildren, Stephen Ford (Stacy), Frank Ford (Meredith) and Lyndsey Ford; and his great grandchildren, Avigail Ford and Mallory Ford.
