She was predeceased by : her parents, Edel Melton Elliott and Gertrude Mae Tripp Elliott. She is survived by : her husband Karl Morris Mayes; her children, Natalie M. Kelly (Kevin) of Carrollton and Michael Mayes (Jennifer) of Martinsville; her grandchildren, Grant Mayes, Katelyn Kelly and Carter Kelly (Madison); and her sister Anna Harrell (Charles Harrell).
