He was predeceased by: his parents, H. L. Cocklin and Nellie Wensky Cocklin; his wife Anna Wallace Cocklin; and his son Robert Lewis Cocklin. He is survived by: his children, Linda Ewbank (Joe) of Alexandria and James Cocklin (Kathie) of Forest, VA.; and his grandchildren, Olivia Madison (Guy) of Forest, VA, Jason Cocklin (Carolyn) of Springdale, AR and Jordan Cocklin (Kelsey) of Brentwood, TN. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
