He was predeceased by: his parents, Deacon James E. Abbott, Sr. and Deaconess Shirley B. Abbott. He is survived by: his son Deacon (Jermale E. Abbott); his grandchildren, Serenity C. Ward and Madison E. Abbott of Nicholas, J. E; his brother Ricardo L. Abbott of Washington, DC; his aunt Patricia Bolling; his uncle Gary Bolling of Lynchburg; and his niece Katina J. Joiner [Darelle] of Odenton, Maryland. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
