He was predeceased by: his father Hardy Jacob Goodale; and his sisters, Verlie Goodale Skipper and Brenda Shepard. He is survived by: his wife Sheree Pennell Goodale; his sons, Preston Goodale (Ali) of Beech Island, SC and Bradley Goodale (Jo-Ellen) of Madison Heights, VA; and his grandchildren, Alaina Goodale and Jackson Goodale. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
