He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend William Edgar Bost and Maggie Mae Dellinger Bost; and his wife Anne Tate Bost. He is survived by: his sister Irma Barker; his children, Kathryn Tate Mason (Ron), James T. Bost, Jr. (Catherine), David N. Bost and William E. Bost (Cindy); his grandchildren, James T. Bost III (Asha), Daniel James Bost, Nathaniel Paul Mason (Holly), Jennifer Clare Stilwell (Zack) and Kaitlin Bost Reams (Tucker); and his great grandchildren, James T. Bost IV, Elliot M. Bost, Titus James Stilwell and Freya Marie Stilwell.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Spring Hill Cemetery (3000 Fort Ave, Lynchburg, VA 24501).
