She was predeceased by : her husband Thomas; and her parents, Urbane Falwell and Ruby Lawrence Falwell. She is survived by : her children, Phillip Hicks of Lynchburg, Rebekah (Becky), Davis (Barry) of Forest and Joel Hicks (Crystal) of Altavista. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren.

A reception was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Compassion Church of the Nazarene (1737 Wards Ferry Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502).
