It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeremy Witcher of Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lucy, Eldridge Callaway, Lorraine Nowlin and James Witcher Sr.; his stepmother Christina Witcher; and his sisters, Jakia Tweedy and Telisha Evans-Sales.
He is survived by: his parents, James Calvin Witcher Jr. and Leanne McDaniel; his daughters, Moriah and Jasslyn; the parent of his children Ebony; his stepfather Earl McDaniel; his siblings, Jade (Will), Teira, Martia (Orville), Meredith, Judith, Joshua, Seth, Emmanuel (Evie) and Nashaun; and his godparents, Charles and Elizabeth Lewis Sr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, February 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ramp Church (701 Thomas Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
