She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Thomas Hudson, Jr.; her parents, Samuel Russell Rice and Annie Woodall Rice; her son David Russell Hudson; and her siblings, Jimmie Rice, Johnnie Rice and Jackie Rice.
She is survived by: her sons, R. Scott Hudson (Kellie) and Samuel Thomas Hudson III; her grandchildren, Meagan Leighanne Hudson, Ashbie Scott Hudson, Brooke Ashleigh Hudson and Carter Elizabeth Hudson; and her brother Jerry Rice. She is also survived by her granddaughters, nieces, great nieces, and great nephew.
