He is survived by: his mother Angela Avery; his wife Kathleen Avery; his son David Avery; his daughter-in-law Celeste Avery; his daughter Caitlin Shupe; his son-in-law Wayne Shupe; his grandsons, Wayne, Garrett Shupe and Theodore Avery; and his brothers, Charles Avery and James Avery.
