It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John W. Craddock formerly of Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Emily Gunn Craddock; and his siblings, Gilmer Jr., Paul Tulane, Claiborne and Anne C. Hammerstrom.
He is survived by: his children, Anne Carter, John (Laura) and Clay (Tess); and his grandchildren, Cameron Howe (Sam), Carter Hopkins (Grant), Will Craddock and Nan Craddock. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren and many devoted nieces and nephews.
Upon the onset of Covid, he retired from Baird at the age of 87 years old.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to First Presbyterian Church, Greater Lynchburg Community Trust, or a charity of one's choice.
