Joseph Abraham Viar Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 4, 2025, at the age of 66, Joseph Abraham Viar of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Woodson Viar, Sr.; and his sister Judy Viar Ford. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Patrick Viar; his daughter Meghan Brooke Stecker (Jason); his grandson Mason Scott Stecker; his siblings, E. W. Viar, Jr. (Shannon Brooks), Harold Lee Viar (Debbie) and Deborah Jean Guill (Lewis) of Madison Heights; his nieces and nephews, Jeffery A Guill, Lindy G Cash, Michael Viar (Brittany Ennis) and Melissa Viar (Lyle Carver); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Benjamin Cash, Lily Cash, Charleigh Carver and Hadley Viar.
