Kathleen Tyler Walker Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Tyler Walker (Lynchburg, Virginia), who passed away on August 8, 2023 at the age of 36. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her uncle Jonathan Arthur Matthews; her aunt Cynthia Leigh Matthews Rhodes; and her grandfather John Snyder Matthews. She is survived by: her parents, Diane Matthews Walker and William M. Walker; her sisters, Alexandra Lewis Walker Wechter (Todd Walter Wechter), Ann Christian Walker Hooper (Kevin Davis Hooper) of Lynchburg, Elizabeth McKenzie Walker Johnson (William McKenzie Walker, Jr.) of Lynchburg and Karen Stockmeyer Walker of Lynchburg; her grandmother Shirley M. Matthews; her nieces and nephews, William Strother Johnson, McKenzie Scott Johnson, Elizabeth Ann Hooper, Katherine Stewart Johnson and William George Hooper; her cousins, David Chandler Walker, Stewart Ramsey Walker, George C Walker III, Shawnya Schweiger Walker and Madison Elizabeth Walker; James Stanley Matthews (Amy) of Dallas Texas, Macy Renee Matthews and Campbell Caroline Matthews.
