Kenneth Edwin Layne Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 24, 2022, at the age of 84, Kenneth Edwin Layne of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Thomas Layne and Clara Bosiger Layne. He is survived by: his wife Delores Pribble Layne; his daughter Teresa L. Sanderson (Edward); his grandchildren, Bryan T. Sanderson (Brooke) and Erica L. Richard (Jessy); his great grandchildren, Harvey Richard and Daphne Richard; and his sisters, Elizabeth Taylor (Cliff) and Jane White.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may take the form of contributions to Fort Hill United Methodist Church or the Alan B. Pearson Cancer Center.
