He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Adler Alper and Hyman Alper. He is survived by: his sister Sharon Alper Lerner (Richard Lerner) of Leland, N. C.; his niece Amy Lerner Campbell (Trofe Campbell); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Bailey, Hunter, Brock of Leland, N. C and Kenny; his friends, Carleton Bo Hall and Florence Hall of Altavista; Ann Harvell and Dennis Wright.

“I am so shocked & saddened to see this. I cannot believe it! I was just scrolling through the Obituaries & saw it & couldn’t believe my eyes! Kenny used to call me & talk for 2 hours sometimes. Sweet guy! He wanted me to make him some of the spaghetti/Mac & cheese like Josephine Harris used to make when they were kids. I finally got around to making it and called him but I couldn’t get in touch with him. God bless him. May he Rest In Peace. I am so sorry for your loss. He will be missed.”
