He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Mayberry and Helen Mayberry; and his son Eric Scruggs. He is survived by: his daughter Melanie Lynn Mayberry; Patricia Justis Mayberry (Nannie). He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
