He is survived by: his children, Mary Beth Overstreet (Ryan) of Blue Ridge, William Anderson Tyree (Joy) of Concord and Charity Lynn Peters (Pete) of Madison Heights; his grandchildren, Allie Tyree, Trace Peters, Anderson Tyree, Grace Peters, Alex Tyree and Griffin Peters; and his siblings, Peggy Knight and Jack Tyree (Jean).
