He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff Giles and Connie O. Franklin; his wife Barbara G. Franklin; and his daughter Melody Franklin-Henry. He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly Franklin and Theresa Dorris; his grandchildren, Raniya Henry, Rianna Henry, Sheena Copeland and Ricardo Jennings; his great grandchildren, Khalil Baskerville and Avah Baskerville; and his siblings, Alice Hudson (Thomas), Laura Franklin and James Franklin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
