It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lila Abrash Rosenthal of Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on May 9, 2026, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Dr. Macey Herschel Rosenthal; and her parents, George Abrash and Ann Gold Abrash. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Macey H. Rosenthal, Jr. of Berkeley, CA, Stephen D. Rosenthal (Cindy) of Richmond, Nancy B. Rosenthal (James B. Nevin) of New York, NY and Sally N. Rosenthal of Palo Alto, CA; her granddaughter Courtney B. Rosenthal of Richmond; and her brother Merrit Abrash of New York City, NY..
