Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Linda Ashwell Sutor of Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 77, on September 28, 2025. In the vast expanse of eternity, Linda shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Linda farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Ashwell and Vera Brightwell Ashwell; and her sister Sue Ashwell Gay. She is survived by: her husband Richard Lee Sutor, Sr.; her children, Richard Lee Sutor, Jr. of Amherst and Melissa Gayle Sutor of Lynchburg; her nieces, Lisa Gay of Lynchburg and Jackie Gay Milliken (Lisa) of Pulaski; and her nephew Jeff Gay (Tammy) of Florida. She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
