He is survived by: his wife Myrtle P. Jennings; his children, Dawn Edwards and Steve Jennings (Lori); his stepdaughters, Teresa Gunter (Ralph), Elizabeth Ramsey (Todd), Alison Crehore (Andy) and Paula Kepel (Daniel); his grandchildren, Ryan Lindsey, Micah Edwards (Becky), Melissa Neuman (Phil) and Rebecca Ham (Aaron); his great grandchildren, Alicia Shockley (Nolan) and Nick Lindsey (Jaycie Callaway); and his close friend Peggy Thompson. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren through his extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory-Lynchburg (220 Breezewood Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
