It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois Dian Karan of Lynchburg, Virginia, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 22, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Wicks and Velma Wicks; her sons, Troy and Travis Karan; and her brothers, Clifford Jr., Arden and Paul Wicks.

She is survived by: her husband Douglas Karan; her daughter Shelly Collins (David) of Chesterfield; her daughter-in-law Sheri Karan; and her brothers, Gordon (Deborah) and Roy Wicks (Deborah). She is also survived by six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
