She is survived by: her children, Edward James Monroe, Jr. (Lori) and Cathy Sue Monroe; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Monroe and Warren Edward Monroe (Imelda); her siblings, Catherine Abbott and Carlton Wright; and her sister-in-law Brenda Wright.
