She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rossetti and Helen Chulick; and her sister Helen Cox. She is survived by: her husband William Long; her sons, Brian Long (Kelly) of Blacksburg, Kevin Long and Darren Long; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Long of Blacksburg and Morelli Payne of Charleston.
