Hughes; her siblings, Leonard Massie, Sandford Massie, Robert Massie, Norman Massie, Florine Miller, Aileen Jones and Emma Bryant; and her grandson Chris Hughes.

She is survived by: her sons, Charles Hughes (Octavia) and Edward Hughes (Leigh); her daughter-in-law Debbie Hughes; her daughter Brenda Hudson (Bobby); her sister Shirley Yolanda Kirksey; Sam Diggs (Rudy). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
