She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard T. Sinclair and Mary Jenkins Sinclair; and her siblings, Dale, Joseph and Evelyn.
She is survived by: her husband Harry W. Grant; her children, Pam Burford (Junior), David Grant (Stephanie) and Cheryl Morgan (Ben); her grandchildren, Jessica (Jonathan Day), Jennifer Surratt, Joshua Grant, Jordan (Dani Grant), Megan Grant, Sydney Morgan and Chelsea Morgan; and her great grandchildren, Liam, Daneel, Mary, Avery, Adam, McKenna and Rowan.
Madeline graduated as valedictorian of Scarborough High School before becoming a Registered Nurse, entering the field in the wake of the polio pandemic.
