It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marco Stone of Lynchburg, Virginia, born in Hurt, Virginia, who passed away on August 31, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Merle Bryant Stone; his father Fred C. Stone; his sons, Marc of Lynchburg and Mitch Stone of Lynchburg; his daughters-in-law, Cindy and Tracey; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emily, Matt (Kelsey), Owen and Jarrett; and his great grandchildren, Bryce, Nola, Ella, Gabe, River and Reed.
